Ahn Jae-wook to Return to TV after One-and-a-Half Year Absence

Actor and singer Ahn Jae-wook will appear in a TV drama after a one-and-a-half year absence. He will play the role of a successful businessman who was adopted by an American family as a child in the drama to be aired on KBS TV2 in May following "Spring Waltz". This is the first drama he will appear in since his role in "Oh! Pil-seung, Bong Soon-Young" in Nov. 2004.
His character Hyeonseo is an executive at a large hotel chain who is posted to Korea, where he falls in love with a woman and meets his biological mother. The heroine has not yet been cast.
Hwang Ee-kyeong, the producer of the drama, said, "I will make it light and interesting so that everybody can enjoy it. There will be romance not only between young couples but also middle-aged couples".
As a singer, An released his fifth album last November and is planning a concert in Japan in March.
