FT Island Holds Fan Meeting in Tokyo

The star band FT Island held their official fan meeting entltled "Congratulations!" at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo for two days from March 19 to 20. The fan meeting was originally scheduled to be held last year in March, but it was postponed due to the great east Japan earthquake.

FT Island sang their new songs live including "Severely" and "Like Birds" that are included in their fourth mini album entitled "Grown Up". When they held a talk show, a cake appeared to celebrate the birthdays of Lee Hong-ki and Choi Jong-hoon, who were born in March, and Choi Min-hwan and Song Seung-hyun, who became adults this year. Their fans who filled the venue sang the celebratory birthday song together in the Korean language and gave an ovation.

Lee Jae-jin remarked about their Christmas live concert that was held at Yokohama Arena at the end of last year, "We held the concert at the largest concert hall ever, and we quite enjoyed our concert". Choi Jong-hoon remarked about their new single "Neverland", which will be released on April 18, chosen as the opening song of the animation "Ozma", which will be the special animation to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the broadcasting station WOWOW, "We could create the best music video ever. I am very happy that the song is involved in the popular animation".

"Ozma", which aired its first episode on March 16, is a work of Matsumoto Leiji, who is a popular animation producer with previous works including "Galaxy Express 999" and "Space Battleship Yamato". It has been drawing attention as it was the first time it was introduced to the public even though it was produced in the 1980s.
