[HanCinema's News] Cho Yeo-jeong Confirmed for "Woman of 9.9 Billion"

On August 26th Cho Yeo-jeong's agency, High Entertainment, confirmed that Cho Yeo-jeong will appear as the lead in the upcoming KBS drama "Woman of 9.9 Billion". She will be playing the title character, Jeong Seo-yeon, who comes into possession of 99 billion won and prepares to use it to find happiness, as well as an escape from her abusive father.

This will be Cho Yeo-jeong's first leading role in a drama since "Divorce Lawyer in Love" from 2015. The casting offer came on the heels of her highly acclaimed performance in "Parasite". "Woman of 9.9 Billion" will be directed by Kim Yeong-jo, who is probably best known for "Oh My Geum-bi", although he has also directed many historical dramas and drama specials. "Woman of 9.9 Billion" will be written by Han Ji-hoon whose last project was "Night Light" in 2016.
