On June 6th popular entertainer Kim Hyun-joong celebrated his thirty-fourth birthday. In appreciation for his talents, a worldwide consortium of his fans banded together to put up a video advertisement commemorating this event at a major intersection in the Seodaemun district in Seoul.

The group is called FANNSTAR and aside from the advertisement pictured above, they also bought advertising space at the CM Board near Hapjeong Station, the SM Board at Gangnam Station, and a bus-affixed advertisement for line 273. The bus advertisement will likely persist for months to come, as they tend to remain even after contract until another buyer purchases the space.
Internationally FANNSTAR also bought advertising space in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo. Much of the advertisement is in English, although the wording is somewhat crude.
