[HanCinema's News] Lee Young-ah Gets Married

On May 28th the agency BIG PUNCH ent has announced that Lee Young-ah, who the agency represents, is now a married woman. The news did not come as a complete surprise. Lee Young-ah was known to be engaged to a non-celebrity three years her junior, and they were set to be married in March. However, the COVID-19 epidemic scuttled these plans and rendered a large ceremony a socially irresponsible event.

The marriage was primarily a legal maneuver. Lee Young-ah and her husband are still planning to have a larger ceremony near the end of the year. Lee Young-ah has been working in dramas for all of her adult life in a wide variety of genres. Her most recent major role was as the lead in the daily soap opera "Love Until the End", although she is also known for major roles in the Silla historical drama "The Great King's Dream" and the supernatural crime procedural "Vampire Prosecutor".
