[HanCinema's News] "Love Reset" Hits Fifth Place on 2023 South Korean Box Office Leaderboard

According to figures released by the Korean Film Council on October 28th, "Love Reset" has earned 29,918 admissions, for a total of 1,725,471 admissions over its twenty-four day run to that point. While the romantic comedy lost the top spot at the box office to The Boy and the Heron from Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, it did achieve another benchmark. "Love Reset" is now the fifth most widely watched South Korean movie at the box office this year.

"Love Reset" still has yet to overcome "Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman" despite dethroning the occult horror film in its first weekend. "The Roundup: No Way Out" is the most popular film of 2023 with over ten million admissions. "Smugglers" was second with over five million admissions, and "Concrete Utopia" had over three million admissions. "Love Reset" stars Kang Ha-neul and Jung So-min as a divorcing couple who amnesically fall in love again during the grace period of their divorce.
