Im Soo-hyang and Ji Hyun-woo's First Script Reading for "Beauty and Mr. Romantic"

KBS 2TV's new weekend drama "Beauty and Mr. Romantic" is scheduled to premiere in March, is a turbulent romance growth drama about a top actress who falls to the bottom overnight and a first-time drama producer who loves her gets her back on her feet.

The main characters who will lead "Beauty and Mr. Romantic" gathered at the first script reading site. All the cast and staff members, including writer Kim Sa-kyeong and director Hong Seok-goo, actors Im Soo-hyang (Park Do-ra), Ji Hyun-woo (Go Pil-seung), Cha Hwa-yeon (Baek Mi-ja), Park Sang-won (Gong Jin-taek), Lee Il-hwa (Jang Soo-yeon), Jung Jae-soon (Gong Dae-sook), Im Ye-jin (So Geum-ja), Lee Doo-il (Go Hyeon-cheol), Yoon Yoo-sun (Kim Seon-yeong), Kim Hye-sun (Hong Ae-ja), Go Yoon (Gong Jin-dan), Lee Young-eun (Go Myeong-dong), Yang Dae-hyuk (Park Do-sik), Lee Sang-jun (Park Do-joon), Lee Seung-hyung (Hong Jin-goo), Kang Sung-min (Cha Bong-soo), Won Yu-jin (Jo bi-bii), Nam Joong-gyu (Lee Jae-dong), Park Geun-hyung (Kim Joon-seop), Lee Seul-ah-I (Young Do-ra), and Moon Sung-hyun (Young Dae-choong).

Kim Sa-kyeong, who wrote "Beauty and Mr. Romantic" said, "Thank you so much for joining me. I will do my best". Director Hong Seok-goo said, "It feels strange to do a drama after a long time, but I am nervous and looking forward to it. I will do my best to play the role of the bridge between great writers and actors.

 

After reading the script, Im Soo-hyang said, "I'm looking forward to what kind of fun stories the members of the extended family will gather to tell in the future".

Ji Hyun-woo also said, "Reading the script always seems to be a feeling of an undercooked green apple. I expect that good work will come out by coordinating well with each other".

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's new weekend drama "Beauty and Mr. Romantic" is scheduled to premiere in March as a follow-up to "Live Your Own Life".
