Actors Kim Jung-hyun and Im Soo-hyang will work together in romance with MBC's new drama "Kokdu: Season of Deity".

"Kokdu: Season of Deity" is a drama about what happens when a death god, Kkokdu who comes down to the earth every 99 years to punish humans, works as a visiting doctor, and Kim Jung-hyun will play the role of Kkokdu in the drama and have a fantasy romance with Im Soo-hyang.

In this world, Kkokdu, who leads the deceased full of grudges in the underworld for causing the anger of the Creator, is an underworld god who has to enter the body of a human named Do Jin-woo that looks just like him and repeat murder. Han Gye-jeol, played by Im Soo-hyang, meets Do Jin-woo, who takes her side for the first time in her life when she is rejected in the eyes of a society that only treats doctors at prestigious universities while she is from a national medical school.
