Lee Jung-bin-I to Star in Drama "The Elegant Empire"

Actress Lee Jung-bin-I announced on the 1st that she will join KBS's new evening daily drama "The Elegant Empire", which will premiere in August.

Lee Jung-bin-I's agency Hanahreum Company said Lee Jung-bin-I plays Ye-kyeong in KBS 2TV's new evening daily drama "The Elegant Empire" (written by Han Young-mi and directed by Park Gi-ho).

"The Elegant Empire" depicts the journey of two men and women's desperate and elegant revenge to regain their lost lives, the hidden truth, and justice trampled by enormous power. It is scheduled to air for the first time in August following "Woman in a Veil".

In this work, she plays the role of Ye-kyeong, the younger sister of the main character Sin Joo-kyeong. In the drama, Ye-kyeong appears to be a strong supporter who helps brave Sin Joo-kyeong who is going through a hard ordeal more than anyone else.

Lee Jung-bin-I has played roles in "Bo-ra! Deborah", "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse", "Payback", "Kill Heel", "Big Issue" and has received public attention for her extreme charm. In addition, Lee Jung-bin-I, who has won Miss Korea's national awards in 2012, will show a new appearance as an actress in the second half of this year, raising expectations for her continued performance in the small screen.
