Schools are closed indefinitely and classes only begin online next week.

In a straw poll of 500 workers released by the Ministry of Employment and Labor on Wednesday, 42.6 percent of respondents said that their children are being taken care of by their grandparents or other relatives.

Some 36.4 percent said they are taking care their children themselves and 14.6 percent are using emergency daycare services provided by schools or nursery schools.

Those who are taking care of their children themselves mostly take a leave from work or chose to work from home.
