Currently, Noh Hee-kyeong is working on the new tvN drama called "Live" due to release next year. "The Last Blossom" is over twenty-years-old, but because family dramas are always trending, it will fit right in. It will just be the difference of landlines versus cell phones.

A single episode will be about fifty minutes long, which is shorter than a miniseries. "The Last Blossom" was also published as a novel, so the remake will be a mix of scenario and novel.

The cast is yet to be confirmed and it's likely that the remake will be stretched out for four weeks.

Meanwhile, original "The Last Blossom" came out December of 1996 and centers around a middle aged woman named In-hee (Na Moon-hee) with a husband and children starring Na Moon-hee, Joo Hyun, Kim Young-ok, Lee Min-young, Lee Jong-soo, and more.

"The Last Blossom" was released as a movie in 2011 and in 2013. Interestingly, part of the "The Last Blossom" scenario was also published in a national high school mock test.
