Dok-go Young (Lee Jin-uk) arrested Choi Jae-hye for multiple murders.

Geum Na-ra (Jung Eun-chae) told Choi Ja-hye truthfully that she wanted to be her lawyer and she agreed. When Geum Na-ra asked if she killed anyone, Choi Ja-hye replied, "I didn't kill anyone. I deny all the charges made by the police. I had no reason to kill them".

Dok-go Young joined the Yeom Mi-jeong (Han Da-gam) case. He asked Choi Ja-hye what her end goal was and she replied, "All you have to do is keep me in trial like you have been doing. Please don't give up".

Kim Hak-beom (Bong Tae-gyu) and Oh Tae-seok (Shin Sung-rok) weren't getting along. Kim Hak-beom knew Oh Tae-suk was trying to frame everything on Kang In-ho (Park Ki-woong) and started suspecting him. Kim Hak-beom also knew what Oh Tae-suk was planning and warned him, "You shouldn't be fooling me".

Geum Na-ra discovered that Choi Ja-hye was actually Jeong In-hye and decided to quit.

However, Choi Ja-hye asked her to put aside her personal feelings and finish the job. Don't you want to know why I invested 19 years with this plan?"
